Boulevard du centre

The ‘boulevards du centre’ are developed as a linking of squares (with a specific atmosphere), avenues (continuity) and junctions (links with lateral axes). Thanks to the asymmetrical profile an esplanade for pedestri- ans can be formed. This esplanade accommodates the ‘refuges botaniques’, a series of volumes covered with vegetation and penetrating the underground stations of the premetro. These stations are transformed into real public places. Two new buildings close the perspective of the monumental axis.
