Feasability Study - Integration of a Mediaschool into an Urban Block

MEDIAPARK.brussels is an ambitious urban development project seeking to redevelop the VRT and RTBF site into a vibrant neighborhood with companies, schools, commerce and housing. The mediaschool IHECS is looking for opportunities to build a new base for their institution that is now located in the centre for the city. This feasability study shows how IHECS could integrate in block B of the masterplan in combination with 20.000 m2 of housing and 5.000 m2 of commerce. In three phases over three months, where all parties are involved in the decision making every phase, all different options and scenarios of integration are narrowed down to one final scenario.
