Participation for "The Longest Bench"

In light of the redevelopment of the Boulevard at the Anderlechtsepoort, On~de Senne organized temporary installations and activities, realized together with creative city planners from ConstructLab and Atelier Made, local residents and associations from the neighborhood, among which, BOB361 architects. The eye-catcher is “The Longest Bench”, a long bench that has been built between 4 and 10 March 2019 on the central reservation of the Poincarélaan. Each team designed and constructed a 10 m segment, connecting as one very long bench. BOB361 made modular pieces of concrete slabs, supported by old and broken chairs, giving them a new life on the Boulevard.
