Punctual interventions
Along a Flemish street, a surgeon and a dermatologist live with their family in a restored citizen house. The old restoration respects the traditional house. The 2 punctual interventions: 1. white neon-lighting in the entrance-hall accentuates the outline of the space and continues on the front and the back side façades. The neons follow the form of the stairs. 2. two large-scale wooden doorpanels separate the rooms. The wooden floor surface continues in the doors, that’s how the floor reaches till the ceiling, horizontal or vertical according to the positions of the doors. A deep line of fluo-orange accentuates the position, the movement.
